HVAC financing. A plan for the home you want.

A new heating or cooling system is a big purchase. Financing can spread the upfront cost into payments, so you can weigh the work your home needs alongside your budget. Compare the full project price and payment terms before you choose.

Financing is subject to credit approval and current lender terms. Asking MGI a question is not a credit application.

Start with what your home needs. Then compare the work, the full price, and how to pay.

Keep the little moments in mind.
  1. What do you want to change?

Talk about the rooms that are hard to heat or cool, the equipment you have, and what you want from a replacement.

  2. What work is included?

Compare the equipment, installation, exclusions, and any work that needs a separate price or another trade.

  3. What is the full project price?

Get the total before comparing payment plans. Keep any possible rebate separate until it is confirmed.

Discuss your project

Ask about the financing options for your project.

Ask MGI about Wells Fargo and Service Finance. Confirm the available plan and your terms before applying.

Credit card financing

Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo’s retail financing uses a credit card account. Ask which offer applies to your project and what credit limit, rate, and payment terms you would receive.

Installment financing

Service Finance

Service Finance describes its financing as a fixed-amount, fixed-term installment loan. Ask which program applies, what it costs, and whether any promotional deadline is part of it.

Approval is not guaranteed. Ask the lender how the application affects your credit before submitting it.

Look beyond the monthly payment.

Financing can spread the upfront cost. Interest and fees can also increase what you pay in total.

Pay upfront or pay over time?

Ask about both. Compare what is due now, what fits your budget, and the full cost of each choice. A lower payment alone does not mean a lower price.

Monthly payment
What will you pay each month, and when does the first payment start?
Repayment length
How many payments will you make? What happens if you pay early?
Interest and fees
What is the annual percentage rate (APR), and which fees apply?
Total repayment cost
What will you pay in all, including interest and fees?

From your first question to life at home.

A clear plan covers the system, the work, and how you will pay.

  1. Start with your home

Tell us what you want to replace and what you want to be different. The office will confirm the appointment and visit details.

  2. Compare the full project

Review equipment options, included work, exclusions, and the full price. Ask about the payment choices for that project.

  3. Choose how to pay

Compare paying upfront with the current financing terms. If you choose to apply, review the lender’s requirements. Approval is not guaranteed.

  4. Make room for life at home

Once the project and payment arrangements are agreed, confirm the installation plan. The goal is to get the agreed work done so you can get back to life at home.

How does HVAC financing work?

Financing lets you repay an approved heating or cooling project over time. You still need to compare the full project price, what you will borrow, and the lender’s terms. Financing adds a payment obligation and may add interest or fees.

Which financing providers should I ask about?

Ask MGI about Wells Fargo and Service Finance. Confirm which plans are available for your project. The lender determines approval and the terms offered to you.

When should I apply?

Start with the equipment options and full project price. Ask MGI which financing plans apply to your project, then review the lender’s terms and application requirements before applying.

Does a lower monthly payment mean a lower cost?

No. A longer repayment period can lower the monthly payment while increasing the total interest you pay. Compare the full repayment cost, not just the payment amount.

What if a plan says “no interest if paid in full”?

Check whether it is a deferred-interest offer. With deferred interest, missing the payoff deadline can mean owing interest from the purchase date. Minimum payments may not pay off the balance in time. Read the actual offer before signing.

Is financing approval guaranteed?

No. Approval and the amount available depend on the lender’s requirements. Ask how the application affects your credit before submitting it.

Can I pay upfront or use a rebate?

Ask MGI about other payment arrangements if you prefer to pay upfront or financing is not approved. A possible rebate is separate from the loan. Keep the full project price in your budget until any rebate is confirmed.
